Child Protection Policy

Lakeside Disability Rights Advocacy Initiative (Lakeside) is fully committed to promoting children’s rights, notably protecting the rights of the child from harm, abuses, exploitation and to be involved in any decision that affect their living status. Lakeside has a duty of care to implement effective practices and procedures for safeguarding the welfare of children and young people with disability and without disability. In order to achieve this we will ensure that our staff and volunteers are carefully selected, screened, trained, and supervised.
